Yesterday Josephine and I went to Ye Olde Health food store.
"Jen, were you baby wearing while going into this fine establishment?"
Why yes I was. Thanks for noticing my awesome AP-ness. (Don't worry I used an evil stroller at the evil mall beforehand, gotta keep things humble.)
Anyhoo I was going in because they were having a fabulous sale (40% off highest item and 25% off the rest of your stuff!) and also because I was out of my Probiotics. We gotta keep the gut healthy up in this piece and keep things nice and regular. Was that TMI? Whatever, you know you've got the same issues!
Out of the corner of my eye on the way to the refrigerated section (of course my Probiotics are refridgerated! Aren't yours?) I noticed the wall of virtuous condiments and that is when I saw this:
That's right people, powdered peanut butter. It's like astronaut ice-cream only peanut butter. Of course I had to buy it! (Of course when my husband got home he looked in the pantry saw it, looked at me with his long suffering look and said "What the hell is this?" to which I replied "Powdered peanut butter." "I don't even want to know.")
So this morning I whipped out my jar of powdered peanut butter (only 1.5 grams of fat!) and reconstituted it with Hillsborough county's finest water and then made myself a peanut and banana sandwich.
Then the heavens parted, angels sang, and momma was happy! A peanut butter and banana sandwich that was only 4 WW pts that actually tasted good.
I've since read that lots of folks like to add this to their smoothies for extra protein and whatnot. Sounds like a plan to me!
